Smashing web site. I often visit Lurg moor and have tried several times to find the Roman fortlet. The Roman wells you mention were , as far as I’m aware, built around 1300 years after the Romans left Britain. They are in fact, air ducts to provide ventilation to the underground pipe which used to bring water from the Gryffe to Greenock. Send me a wee email ( if you can be bothered ) as I want to ask you something about Clydebank.

Hi.Think the bike looks great hope I can get mine turn out something close.Its a Motorhispania rx 50 the same as the one you restored, I’ve nearly completed the engine rebuild and I’m waiting for a couple of parts, but looking at the wiring loom, I cant see where the alternater connects in and have know idea about the conections on the ignition coil,can you give me any help or info, as searching on the net is getting me no where at the moment.Thanks. Paul.

This was one of the best days ever..
seeing this pile of metal turned into an amazing bit of kit is brilliant, cant wait till test run 2

if Marty dosn’t crash again..
